BUTTERS

Butters is the softest, mostest snuggliest doggie in the world! He is also extremely laid back. He prefers to just hang out and be petted and rubbed rather than bounding around like a typical yellow lab youngster. He loves to be outside just smelling the fresh air, too. He is GREAT with kids, and okay with dogs when properly introduced.

FRANKIE

Frankie is the coolest little guy! He's a handsome red and white bully with a really expressive face! He's a "thinker," and you never know what funny schemes and antics he's cooking up in that squooshy noggin of his! He is active and athletic, housebroken, and crate-trained. He can be a little bit pushy with other dominant dogs, but gets along fine when properly introduced.

HERSHEY

Hershey is a sweet boy that is looking for a wonderful forever home. He is a beautiful boy with an easy going attitude. We think he is approx 3-4 yrs old and weighs about 65lbs. This poor guy was a stray that made friends with a nice family for the day but while hanging out in their driveway was backed over by a Lowes truck. He has recovered well and has been all updated on his medical including neuter. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Loves to go for car rides! He gets along well with most dogs but we believe a calm female would suit him best. Also older kids (10 and up) in the home would be a better fit for him. He needs a fenced yard to keep him from ending up stray again.

What a handsome boy! Who doesn't love a Lab!?

DIXIE

Dixie is a female Blue Tick Coonhound, about a year old. She is a VERY good girl (especially for a hound!)! She's ready to find the perfect forever home!

HERCULES

SWEET SWEET SWEET!!! That's what everyone who meets Hercules says!! He is an absolute cuddle bug and has never met a stranger. Look at that blurry tail in the picture! ;) He is very good with kids and enjoys playing with all his K9 buddies. Hercules is on the smaller side at only about 30lbs. Hercules is about a year old. He is crate and house trained. He is a VERY mellow boy and loves to just hang out on the couch watching tv with his people. We think he would fit into almost any family!! He will need a fenced yard to keep him safe!

Look at his smooshy pittie face!

HELPER

Poor Helper had a rough start to life but has put all that behind him and is adjusting well to his new life. He's a very sweet boy and loves all the attention he can get. He's still learning some things like how to walk on a leash and how to pose for photographs. He hasn't quite mastered his Zoolander modeling techniques yet. Helper is just a yr old and weighs approx 45lbs. He gets along well with other dogs and hasn't shown any interest in cats. He does well with kids and would make a wonderful family companion. He needs a fenced yard to keep him safe.

FLYNN

Flynn is a beautiful boy with apricot coloring and gorgeous light eyes. He is a sweet and loving 2yr old pit bull. He's never met a stranger and loves to meet and greet everyone!! He's good with most other dogs but should not live with cats. He is also crate and house trained. He loves to ride in the car and walks nicely on the leash.

Flynn is just GORGEOUS!

WHISTLER

Whistler is a very sweet boy with patches just like a painted pony! He is very well-behaved with people of all ages and does fine with other dogs. He will chase cats. Whistler is housebroken and crate-trained.

Whistler is a very sweet boy with patches just like a painted pony! He is very well-behaved with people of all ages and does fine with most other dogs, but does place a high value on toys or special things that are given to him. He can get jealous. He will chase cats. Whistler is housebroken and crate-trained.

ABBY

Abby is an example of WHY spaying and neutering is so important. Her owners live in the country and started out with just two dogs that were never neutered. Over time, litter after litter was born, and with no veterinary care or any kind of human contact or training, the puppies became basically ferral. Poor Abby isn't quite sure how to be a pet dog, but she's learning! She's a beautiful shepherd mix with lots of potential. She will need a patient and loving owner that will work on gaining her trust.

DEE– ADOPTED!

Hello there! My name is Dee. I'm about 4yrs old. I enjoy hanging out watching TV or a good game of tug. I love to be wherever my people are!! I enjoy the company of other dogs and even cats. I've lived with kids of all ages and don't mind them at all. I always wait to do my business outside and will stay quietly in a crate (as long as it's secure)..haha. My foster mom says I'm a real joy to have around and that I listen VERY well!! I must have a fenced yard to keep me safe!! Looking forward to meeting you soon!! I really want a home to call my own.

DUCHESS – ADOPTED!

My name is Dutchess!! I came here with my brother, Duke, who has found his forever home. I'm around a year old and very very sweet. I love to play but have a mellow side too. I've only been in foster care a very short time but my foster mom says I'm picking up on my house manners very quickly. I'm learning to go outside and also that staying in a crate isn't a bad thing. I'm very friendly with all my canine friends and very happy around kids! I don't even mind the cats!! I'm not going to be very big when I grow up, maybe 35lbs. My foster mom says I'd be a great match for almost any family. She also says I need a fence to keep me safe.

LUCY

Lucy is a wonderful girl. She is naturally well behaved and has wonderful manners. She is always a lady in public and very social with people of all ages. She sometimes is nervous of men. She is about 6 yrs old. She has been spayed is up to date on shots and on heart worm preventive. She is also crate trained and housebroken. She will be micro chipped before going to her new home and does require a fenced in yard.

CHARLIE

Charlie is a great guy who is seeking his new forever home. He was left out in the middle of the country. When we picked him up he had a very severe injury to his foot and as a result has lost a toe but he doesn't seem to mind. He is very very sweet and gets along very well with everyone. He seems to really love kids. He has never met a stranger. He gets along great with farm type animals and cats. He likes most dogs but can be a bit pushy with some males. He is crate and house trained. He is up to date on vaccines and hw negative. He will be micro chipped before adoption.

SADIE – ADOPTED!

Poor Sadie had a nice home and an elderly owner who loved her very much. Unfortunately her owners health was failing and was forced to give up her home and move in with family and the family said NO SADIE!!! So here she is. She is really sweet but it takes her a few to warm up to strangers. She seems to be more receptive to children, probably because they are smaller and less intimidating. She enjoys playing and likes to chase her tail. She seems to really enjoy the company of other dgos. She is two years old and up to date on everything and also spayed. She is house and crate trained. She seems to have selective hearing so a fenced yard would be best. She will make a wonderful addition to a family that gives her the time she needs to warm up!!

JULIUS — ADOPTED!

Julius is a big old smooshy sweet boy, around 2 years old. His fosters tell us that he RARELY barks, walks right next to you on a leash, and loves kids! He came to us from a loving family that was forced to give him up due to BSL. He is 100% family dog material! Read more of his story on our homepage.
